For those who don’t know, South Bank is an area in central London right along the Thames filled with cafes, shops, venues, and culture. This includes the above photo, a skate park right in the heart of South Bank, which is a free zone for anybody to come and skate, bike, or graffiti, and it has been around for forty years. There is now a proposal to get rid of this skate park (along with other areas of South Bank) and to relocate them elsewhere in London to make room for a new “Festival Wing” (aka more shops, restaurants, and venues). There is a movement to try to get the planners to reconsider these plans, and to keep this precious skate park, along with other areas of South Bank, so if anybody cares or is interested, here is the link to sign the petition! http://www.longlivesouthbank.com/take-action/

I fully appreciate that nothing can even begin to make up for the devastation and scores of lives lost in Oklahoma, but sometimes there are stories that beggar belief and give hope where it seems like there is none.

This, for example, an old lady who has survived the tornado but lost her dog before finding her dog mid-interview, is just too much.

DIA FRAMPTON - The Broken Ones

It just hit me how grown up she is and how much I still love this beautiful girl and how much I will always idolize her and I just realized that I’ve been obsessed with Meg & Dia for SEVEN YEARS now how did this happen it feels like it’s been maybe three or four years and it makes me so sad to see Dia without Meg and I don’t know I just watched this video and was suddenly overwhelmed with love for this perfect band and words cannot express how much Dia (and Meg and Carlo and Nick and Jonathan) mean to me and I wish they were all still together <33333
